The layout of the open living spaces is great for entertaining guests, socialising or spending time with the kids while the evening’s meal is being prepared in the open-kitchen. If you want to give them all your attention, you can always order delicious food via Niseko Gourmet and enjoy it family-style on the large dining table.

The bunk bedroom has plenty of board games, beanbags and a television to occupy the kids when they are not enjoying the wonderful outdoors. However, with the soft powder snow outside your door, do not be surprised if they ditch their gadgets in favour of building snowmen and having snowball fights instead.

The Niseko region is a children’s paradise with so many activities available all through the year. Hirafu Village and Niseko Village have adventure playgrounds with ropes courses, climbing walls and flying foxes. Both also offer fun cultural events to watch or participate in, such as Taiko drumming or cooking classes. During winter, there are many ski schools offering lessons for kids aged three and above, and summer has educational adventure camps, trips to the lake and a matsuri (festival) almost every month.
